Sights along the Mt. Olympus Trail.
The hike to the top of Mt. Olympus (9,026') entails hiking up
this four mile ascent trail, with 4,200' gain. Approaching the
summit, there is a short, low class 3, scramble where the trail
disappears. The peak is actually a
local highpoint along a ridge, with much higher peaks to the east,
and to the south. Photos taken June 20, 1998, by Petesthousandpeaks.
