RED ROCK March 6, 2022

Exhausted or sick from something, I was denied medical treatment. With all the providers too busy to even chat wth me by any video appointment, I just tried to get a good rest every day, with ocassional going out for food. No one will help, not even for a million dollars. I've offered work at $300/hour, to be refused and hated, by the looks of it. No friends or anybody to ever speak with me, not even a therapist to talk.

With my tech, I kept abreast of the news, with war in Europe, and that my green investments weren't soaring to new heights, for now. Looking up what was better to eat with my mental health situation, I started to be resigned to passing on. I drank lots of orange juice, V-8 juice, and tried to eat healthier. To minimize my use of my zero emissions, I didn't go peak bagging or traveling.

Spending now a bit more on food, I had done my taxes. Better on my finances, I can treat myself better. I felt slightly better on Saturday night, so did research on Sunday drives. I heard it was up to more than $7/gallon in California, so figured to get a photo of the gas prices in Bridgeport, CA. Though the road to Bodie Historic State Park was snowbound, I do enjoy the scenery on my way south along the mountain highway, U. S. 395.

Sunday, I didn't lay in bed for all morning, so started on webwork. To do something, I'd motor north on 395 to Red Rock. Still tired, I walked a short way up the dirt road to capture a few photos, then not seeking to get too tired to get back, returned to my car. Chatting with a local there, I showed him my website on my phone. I've had no good exercise for months, so I had better take it easy. Quickly home, I got to water and to finish my day's post.

With heated left over take-out food, I'd rest for the remainder of the day. I did manage to go get fast food at a new eatery along Interstate 80, enjoying the fresh cooked burgers and fries. To remember the joys of hiking and travel, with as good as I did it last season, I struggle to keep myself going. Maybe I'll recover from what ails me, and get my healthy ways restored. I own my wonderful car and never to ever pay for gas again, and then my luxury townhome. The enviro hiking club could have benefited greatly, with bargain carpool rides, lodging in an adventure city, and road trips galore. That they banned all this back decades ago, to never bag peaks with travel as I have in the last many years, to continue to disallow their membership to ever do as we did, with every last event of mine to be safely and successfully accomplished, that is the real sickness!
