RATTLESNAKE MOUNTAIN 93X January 8, 2022

Resting up with muddy trails, I had good enough food at home over this week. Seeking good, cheap, Chinese food, I found a spot in Sparks, NV. On my way there, I captured some photos ahead as I motored along the freeway.

On the weekend, I had some diet soda, and then checked on the trails at Huffaker Hills TH. They had dried out nicely, so I'd make this a report on conditions. Ascending to the top, many hikers were enjoying this nicer day. I captured more photos on my way down, and it should be nicer with the week ahead of dry weather. With the roads and highways mostly dry now, I may make a short road trip. The problem is that I'm on a tight budget, and a sharing travel partner would be nice.

With a light buffet meal at the hot plate buffet, I safely motored home along the main street. Maybe if anyone ever visits this website, they'd see how good the local hiking is now.
