RATTLESNAKE MOUNTAIN 98X January 23, 2022

With plenty of rest and frugality, I stayed at home for about the whole week. Nobody would ever hike or climb with me, so I save my money. Hopefully, I'll go on a road trip, after I pay some big bills. I ate some food at home with fast food deals, and watched the TV a lot.

This Sunday was a nice day, so as not to waste the good weather and dry trails, I first got diet soda, and then to get a hot plate buffet, as to use the restroom twice. My system cleared, I bagged the Rattlesnake 98X. A notable sign-in was the author of the desert peaks guide, a really nice guy. Seeing other hikers, I sauntered back to my car, then motored straight home.

With the end of the month coming, I will pay off all my credit cards. It's to go into bigger debt, and I hope to pay this off in a few months. Nobody will be road tripping and peak bagging with me, so I stay frugal. I did see how it was to sleep in the back of my car, as to car camp versus motels. With camp mode as part of the software, it's so comfy with heat with my two backpacker pads for sleeping on. Nice perhaps with a partner to share the car camping, as it's roomier than a tent. I can watch movies with music, with the excellent car sound. But as I stay up all night sometimes, an economy motel room with shower and TV would be better. My sleep has been irregular, as I watch TV all night sometimes.
