RATTLESNAKE MOUNTAIN 92X January 1, 2022

Leisurely enjoying food and a salad about the mid-week, I made one trip south along U. S. 395. The sky had drama, so good for photos. I celebrated the New Year at home, and then woke up to figure to motor to Truckee, CA for some fine dining. The Interstate was closed, so I headed for the local fast food for diet soda, then motored to the Huffaker Hills TH. Still no outhouse, but with muddy trails, I bagged the Rattlesnake 92X with snowy views. Careful to not slip, I made my descent safely, slowing to watch for my footing.

Getting my fill of turkey and gravy at the hot plate buffet, I stopped at the Supercenter to get some meds, and arrived home safely. Anxious to post the trail conditions, I did my webwork this evening, and relaxed with my first hike for the new year done.
