THORTON POINT 66X September 12, 2021

Anxious about my upcoming medical procedure, I had my usual breakfast of some comfort food. Then to the fast food for diet soda, and then deciding to bag Thorton Point 66X. Getting groceries on my way home, I made food in my own kitchen, while watching videos on my 4K TV.

An easy day with minimal exercise, it was a Sunday, so to relax and rest. I hope to get the week over with, as a cancellation of my exam may cost me money. I had secured a ride back home, as I'd be sedated, and hopefully they won't find anything too bad. I'm aged, and prone to diseases now, and hope to live on with a healthy and productive life. I'd like to see to getting the new electric truck, and go on as a trail angel. Then with photos and videos of my hiking and travels, I seek to inform and assist any hiking or peak bagging visitors. I update my peaks guide, and report on what I find as far as driving an electric car.

Seeing how my finances go for this month, I need to save up some money for travels, with now power and lodging costs. Past the regular travel season, I hope to see lodging become back to being affordable. Still sort of a waste for a single person to take a double occupancy room, someday, I hope to gain at least one traveling companion. With my credit back to normal, I am able to see the USA on a long road trip, if I should find someone to share the traveling expenses. Although as far as the Pacific West, I've mostly seen it all, been there and done that. I know the way as far as peak ascents, but with the news, hikers get lost or even killed. Pity none of them will even chat with me, as when I led trips for the hiking club, we got to the destination and back, always safely and mostly successfully.

Still to this day, I make it to the summit as far as doable peaks here locally, and being solo, I'm just a lonely guy to bag the peaks. Seems that most or all hikers prefer their own company, too, I dine solo, and now my money is largely spent up, as far as my past proceeds from real estate and investments. To settle down to a monthly smaller budget, this has been my plan. Hoping still to reap huge capital gains, by stocks, or being a flipper, my future to me seems bright. To get my daily exercise, and not to get into large credit card debt, as I did on my mostly Vegas road trip, I did see how it was to live on the higher side of life.

I sort of lived this way when I moved to my first home in Reno, NV, required to stick to a budget with mortgage payments, but sadly, I even thought of suicide. Buying a new, good Nikon camera capable of 4K video, did that resurrect my hiking and travels. From then on, it's been a wonderful life, with the huge capital gains on selling the first home, moving to Fallon, NV, then back to Reno after a good, winter road trip.
