RATTLESNAKE MOUNTAIN 81X, TWIN PEAKS October 15, 2021

With the newly enabled heat for my home, I gained some energy. Going to the fast food, I had diet soda and a chocolate chip cookie. I felt okay, so motored over to the Huffaker Hills TH and bagged the Rattlesnake 81X. Some nut job by his words was escorting his young kid down the steep road. I passed them by after a brief chat, and then bagged Twin Peaks. It was great to be hiking again, though it was gorgeous weather with clear blue skies.

I had gone by the Post Office to pick up my package, a repaired wind parka, fixed for free. As I don't trust the mail delivery, due to missing items, I had the P. O. hold my mail. Hopefully, I'll soon get new suction cups for my dash cams, so I can post the 4K video from my driving about town. The neighbor had clumsily broke them, so no more rides in my car for him, as he can't help but break things.

I had a good $10+ buffet bar meal, and going home, made some frozen food, and devoured other treats.

Happy to have regained my energy, I hope to get back to peak and bump bagging, as I have near all of the last couple of years. I blame the collapse of my hiking routine due to the lack of medication, now remedied. Still yet to have my drivers license okayed with my taking other meds, I haven't heard back from either the potential new provider or the DMV.

Remaining to be seen how I'll be doing with hiking and my personal energy, I hope to save some money for fine dining and shorter road trips. Snow is starting to fall in the mountains, but with no one to share in travel or hiking, I'd tend to spare the car and hike locally. As far as fall colors, I've been there, done that for near 50 years. Nobody wants to carpool or ever hike with me, so be it. My dash cams need the new suction cups, as right now, they aren't pointed properly. I'd love it to have 4K video to post of Hope Valley and about Lake Tahoe, but this year, I may have to forgo this.
