HIGHPOINT OF NORTH VALLEYS REGIONAL PARK 78X July 29, 2021

Up a few times to do webwork, then to use the bathroom, I was well up at about 5:45 a.m., this Thursday morning. I had garlic bread in the early a.m., then two slices of cinnamon raisin bread for breakfast. My molar was hurting, and I took many ibuprofen pills. To check on the flag and pole, I bagged the highpoint of North Valleys Regional Park 78X this morning. Nice to see other hikers beating the heat by exercise in the cooler morning.

The flag and pole were fine, so I captured the smoky views, as I wasn't feeling great. Back home, I had to rest, with more garlic bread for lunch. I got a call from an old peak buddy, and chatting, arranged for a peak hike the next morning. He declined a stayover at my place, with him, I guess, staying with family. Nice to hike with guests from way back when, before the Club ban on my peak bag section in 1987.

I saw the dentist in the late afternoon, and I now need major dental work. I got a prescription for more pain pills, so I ought to be okay for the time being, till I get the teeth fixed. This is going to cost me, but I do have some money. Home after being too tired, I had slices of bread for dinner. Too bad that I have to wait till the dentist has time for me, normally it's been immediately for pain, but so it will go.

I had to call the web host for issues, as my videos and photos don't load. My disk space must be full, so I asked them to increase it. Sounds nice to just sleep till the dental work gets done, but then it becomes a mental health issue. Tired and awake in the early a.m., I will be in pain for some time.
