HIGHPOINT OF NORTH VALLEYS REGIONAL PARK 70X July 12, 2021

Due to be a record breaker, I had a light breakfast. Leaving home on foot, I bagged the highpoint of North Valleys Regional Park 70X. I went out later for a lunch, and went by the luxury home furnishings store to get a refund. I looked at furniture, but it wasn't my style or available that day. One required assembly, as it comes delivered in a box. I wound up buying a $29 clock, for my loft or where.

Home, I went to bed, as it was warm inside. Taking cold showers, I stayed cool enough. Then down to the living room, where it was 85 degrees at 6 p.m. With a dinner to spare the stove, I did webwork, and saw to it that I'd get the motorized shades with a remote, rod and thermal curtains installed. This takes care of the skylight window, where I could raise or lower the cellular shades at will, without going up a ladder. My windows would all be insulated, with double panes, cellular shades, and thermal curtains. As this could be one of the hottest days ever, I can shut off the a/c and be comfy indoors. Upstairs, it's a bit warmer, but there are fan blowers to buy and cool it down.

Looking forward to cold winter days, where I'd use an electric space heater if it gets really cold, and to see how the window coverings insulation performs. My last energy bill was $109, and the breakdown was good for the car, driving on many day trips.
