HIGHPOINT OF NORTH VALLEYS REGIONAL PARK 86X August 7, 2021

With an installation due for today, I stayed close to home. It was smoky, later with a stage 2 alert, but I went and bagged the highpoint of North Valleys Regional Park 86X. I replaced the rings on the flagpole, and wished the fix well. Hopefully, the flag and pole willl need no further maintenance. Home, I rested with a late breakfast, then movies and more food later in the day. Not driving my car, I fell asleep, then awoke in time for allowing for the install. The installation man put up my new shades with motor and remote. He came by late, so didn't have time to install the rod and curtains. His office would call later to arrange for this.

Now, I can raise or lower the cellular shades by a small square sized remote. Good for light in the morning, as my skylight window lets through the morning sun nicely. I offered $80/hour for the work to install my thermal curtains, as it isn't any good if I try to install them myself, and then fall from the heights. My eyes and coordination are poor, so best for a professional to do it. I had trouble with the clips to hold the flag by grommets, as my eyes can't focus closely too well, and then I have poor luck with my stubby fingers.

Still with painting to complete in my garage, no one wants work even for $100/hour.

I used my AirPods for music as I hiked. Amazingly, they still worked after I inadvertently left them in a sweater pocket, then washed the garment, and also put it through the dryer.

I had signed more documents this early a. m. to ensure my loan could move forward. Perhaps in a month, I will have plenty of cash and then be able to use my credit cards again. My monthly payment will be higher, but no minimum payments needed any more on my credit cards. Low on cash for now, nobody wants anything that I have for sale, even brand new at a substantial discount. It appears that a lot of social media invites fakes and frauds. I gave up on dating, as I got nothing but fake people. Still posting to try and help hikers out, it looks that even if I offered a million dollars for free, there'd be nobody ever to take any of it. Fakes will never reveal themselves as fakes!
