HIGHPOINT OF NORTH VALLEYS REGIONAL PARK 89X August 10, 2021

Up with blueberries for breakfast. I saw moderate air quality, so bagged the highpoint of North Valleys Regional Park 89X. Alone on the trails, I returned home to get my mail. Resting with a movie, I fell asleep, and then got up to have food and got groceries.

Just another day in my home in Reno, NV. Hot outside and smoky, I have to be frugal, so no road trip to get out of the smoke. I sold a holding, as to pay off the bills. Waiting for my financial solution, it takes time. My new electric pickup is announced delayed to 2022, so it's to wait for the new computer.

My worry is to succumb to mental illness, as happened before, With no hiking or even a friend, I get depressed. I went to the hospital, as I told my doctor that I was looking up ways to get rid of yourself. The cops then showed up at my door, so I had to be treated. Three days then under observation, then released. I'm hiking now, so happy and pleased, peaks are my salvation. I blame the illness on the medication, as it does say, it may cause suicidal thoughts. An associate was taking some, her cheery and happy, so I followed suit. My undoing, as I am stuck now on pills.

Looking to my great future, I have no reason to get rid of myself, as told to me in college by the enviro hiking club rep at one of their campus events. Being carbon negative, my presence helps stop climate change. I donate to planting trees, with a near zero personal carbon footprint. I own and drive a zero emissions car, with a highly energy efficient home. My a/c is shut off, so no electrical use by the unit. My low energy use is stated to be commendable.

With a code red report, the planet will warm. Forest fires will get worse. Sea levels are rising, and the weather disasters are happening. I saw the will of the people, to refuse science and all. Myself, I live where it's cooler, and safer from forest fires, but here we have high winds, and maybe even coming tornadoes. I'm secured from floods, and my home is insured. Many people would be distressed with such a future for humanity, but they say there's still hope. To reduce carbon and greenhouse gas emissions should be a top priority. We need drastic measures.

Though gas powered vehicles are being banned from production in the near future, I am invested in zero emissions transportation. Though the enviro hiking club stopped outings, they all still appear to use polluting cars and ways. A bunch of greedy hypocrites, I long ago quit them, and now preach about them and their ways. They go on to make it worse, and take their money and orders from polluters.

Being attacked in their peak section newsletters, I put forth the truth. Placing summit registers, I'm not seeking to pay to get rid of them, as they claim. I like clean summits, wild and free. They publish and praise litterers and polluters, without any knowledge of the facts. My supposedly offensive comments by them, are just the truth and reality. They block any adverse mentions of them and their ways.

Racists to the core, do they hate all of us non-white. Where do you ever see diversity in anything that they do? With piddly tokenism, so they claim open membership. I was long ago banned from leading a peak section, by loud and hateful people. Why would most people contribute to an obvious hate group? With my own peaks and points list, polluters don't get honors or pins or medals. I never owned an SUV or gas guzzler. Check out the parking lot at any of their events. What do you see?
