The views from the summit of Mt. Goddard (13,568') encompasses the main Sierra Crest. Mt. Darwin (13,830') stands to the left center, and the Evolution Basin is seen under the cloud (top photo). My various telephotos are obscured by the smoke from fires a long way away. Polemonium, the blue-purple flowers, grow up high on the peaks, too. Photos taken July 5, 1985, by Petesthousandpeaks.
