HIGHPOINT OF NORTH VALLEYS REGIONAL PARK 140X August 8, 2022

Skipping my exercise yesterday for sleeping most of the day, I got up so late again this Monday. I got another 4 wing special, and then shopped for groceries. Eating up my ice cream, I'd watch TV the rest of the usual day.

Seeing that the current temperatures looked to allow for a comfortable peak bag, I motored the short distance to the park lot to take my pack up the bump. It began to rain, and I donned my parka, but it let up as I reached the top. Somebody had left the register container with the holes in the lid up, but the contents didn't get soaked. Two hikers with a dog had preceded me up the trail, but soon got way ahead due to my slower pace and stopping for photos, then putting on my parka for the rain.

Home, it was to webwork and music, with various new and old songs to liven me up. Still fearful of another mental health collapse, I aim to take my meds, and then vitamins with foods to combat the illness. It was nice to be able to sleep all day, but to never bag a peak or bump, this is ahead in my future, as everyone gives it up and finally passes away. A friend would be so nice, but not even for a million dollars could I find anyone. I don't have anywhere close to that, and my offers for free meals, lodging, and carpools go ignored. What is a guy supposed to think?

Resting well, I made some bacon and eggs.
