HIGHPOINT OF NORTH VALLEYS REGIONAL PARK 145X August 14, 2022

Somewhat saddened that likely my intended trailhead would be full of cars parked, I set out to do the local bump 145X. I took liquids in my pack, and had to use my pee bottle instead of using the outhouse. I stopped to sit on the high bench and finished a can of diet soda, then scrambled to the top. It was a beautiful bluebird day, with deep blue sky and no clouds. I did capture many photos of lizards, and a rabbit stayed motionless as it tried to hide from me and my camera. I spoke at length with other users, a few to enjoy this marvelous hiking op.

My car temperature read 84 degrees as I returned, and I motored off to drink juices and water at home. I had my sights on fine dining tonight, after perhaps bagging another bump.

I had to set the camera time manually this morning, as there is an option to pair with my smartphone, and for some reason then, it copies as an hour later. I clicked no on pairing, as back in Vegas, even the camera store staff was unable to connect them. Most of the times "printed" on the still image are then an hour off. Sorry everybody, as I've been too lazy or tired to do this till now.

I was tired at 2:30 p.m., so headed for bed. Sleeping to about 5 p.m., I ate some snacks, and got back to laying down, resting. Feeling like an old man, my big peak days must be over.
