HIGHPOINT OF NORTH VALLEYS REGIONAL PARK 143X August 12, 2022

Perhaps tired from the last day's hike, or slipping back into illness, I stayed in bed till late afternoon. Cooking chicken wings, I saved my car from a few miles.

On Friday the 12th, I got up by 8:30 a.m., to drink a can of diet soda, then to make a strawberry and blueberry smoothie. With my vitamins, I feared to not hike today, I'd stay in bed, and perhaps relapse into how I was last winter. The conditions were right for a hike, so I motored over to the local park, and started my hike. Many lizards along the trail, including a horned toad.

I summited to find the register was fine, took my photos of the view, and ran into another hiker walking his dog. This park must be one of the most underutilized areas in Reno, but I do rarely see other hikers on most all of my local venues for fitness. Nobody chats with me to team up for hiking, so they miss my offers like a free meal, free ride, and even free lodging. We are not remembered from the 1970's and 1980's, when we had two good peak sections. My section got banned first, then the Peak and Gorge section must have decided nobody wanted anymore to bag peaks.

I continued on with peak bagging and travel, and I have posted photos, text, and even video to show any interested in my adventures, but all is declined. Hikers must stay away from my website, and by my registers, peak baggers do not sign in or simply do not do these peaks and bumps. While I do have a noticable belly, I slim down on my peak and road trips usually, and I can see the many peoples who are obese and even morbidly obese.

With my illness, it was to hope to pass away, but with my treatment, I seek now to get exercise and views. I will soon speak with a therapist, then afterwards, an evening bump.
