MAX'S LOOKOUT 3X March 18, 2021

With some food for starting the day, I had to go get some items from the store. It was then to motor to the Hidden Valley Regional Park, where first, I used the restroom. Beginning my hike to Max's Lookout, I chatted with a 87 yo just returning from his own hike. It took me 43 minutes to get to the bench that marks the lookout, still steep and slippery.

With nice conditions, I rested and saw the register had loose pages, and some nearly blew away by the wind. I should place a new book, as the present one looks to be deteriorating. It was good, clear, vistas, and I captured several telephotos of the lakes and casinos.

Taking care not to slip, I carefully shuffled down, and soon I was back to more level ground. I took care, so I never fell down on my rear. I had warned the other hiker that you could break a leg, if not real careful.

Back to the car, I rested with some diet soda to rehydrate myself. Then to the downtown three casino complex, and early, I ordered dinner. Security was dealing with some person, and checking out the high end eatery, it was still closed.

I had given a care package to some person at the shopping mall, and also to three people by the freeway exit. They allowed me to capture photos of them all. Nice that they agreed to wear my T shirts, as they can be read better than their cardboard signs. I told them if I saw them wearing the Ts, I would give them another $5 donation for each time that I was by.

I was unable to get more cash by the ATMs, as they all declined my debit cards. At night, I headed out for more food, taking South Virginia Street to find the eatery was closing. I did more shopping, but they refused my convenience payment, so I left.

Home, I had to get to bed, tired, and would do webwork later.
