TRUCKEE, CA December 16, 2021

Resting well over the last few stormy days, I had plenty of good food about town. With a few pastrami with Swiss cheese sandwiches, and organic salads, I had some dessert at the main downtown casino complex with holiday cheer. Catching up on music and movies at home, I was snug and cozy in my townhome, sadly with no company. I offer free lodging and meals, with zero emissions transportation, but it all appears to be totally refused. Once, I offered a free super season pass, if anyone would team up with me, but never any inquiry. I'd love to tour the USA with skiing, but there is nobody.

Seeing the better weather this Thursday, I opted to get diet soda and to see if highway conditions would improve. Chain control to Truckee, CA, was lifted, so I'd go and see the new snow. Motoring westbound on Interstate 80, it was so pretty. Numerous chains fallen off caused some highway hazard. Making it to a fav eatery, I ordered ramen, great for a colder day. Then to tour the main street in downtown Truckee, and then to motor back east along the Interstate. I hit a discarded heap of chains, and feared for a flat tire, but I have the best brand, and no problem.

Home safely, I had some great dash cam videos of the snowy highway and the destination town, and I'd work on those to get them posted by tonight.
