RATTLESNAKE MOUNTAIN 89X December 9, 2021

Up to cook a good breakfast at home, I used my new, $40, digital air compressor to fill up my car tires, which had appeared to be a bit low. It seemed to work, and though I feared for some defect, testing it out on the roads, the touchscreen displayed that my tires were now inflated to the set proper psi. Hurray for the online retailer, as they provide affordable technology to the masses.

Going for $1 diet soda, I then headed back to the trailhead that I like so much. Bagging the peak that I count, the scene was grand, with fresh fallen snow. I spoke with a hiking couple, but as usual, they wouldn't be interested in a free ride in my zero emissions, no matter where that'd be. I'd wish for a trip to beautiful San Francisco, but with crime and auto smash and grabs, this looks to be inadvisable. A short road trip down south on U. S. 395 would also be old, for me, then to make better use of the drive, I'd wish to lodge overnight, at least. With absolutely no one to share, my four passenger seats and also the extra motel bed all go to waste.

To the market, I had an organic salad, as they no longer offer turkey, and then to go back home, I enjoyed my technology. With all that I have to share with my two extra bedrooms, it looks so improbable to get any roommate or even a guest. Likely better for my loneliness and mental health, I could even offer no rent required. They'd have to be compatible and agree to my terms, and as I attended UCB, I got along good enough in my dorm with others.

With my modern technology and entertainment venues, nobody comes over to watch my movie library or listen to music. I have great sound and a 4K TV, but I'm so aware that even with a 100" 8K TV, there'd be nobody. My tracker reports only one visit to my website for months, and my query to the webhost to see if this is true, despite the privacy supporting software and operating systems, came up with no answer. Seeming that my website is refused, and my many offers go unseen or ignored, even with links on social media, I do save my money.

It used to be that an old hiking buddy would regularly come over to my apartment, back in Sac. I'd treat him for a free dinner, at the order of the enviro hiking club, as they said that he attended my climbs, so "he should get something." By my estimate, he got many hundreds of dollars worth of meals, but he finally passed away, decades ago. I had only three takers for a free ride to peak bag, and none of them ever came back for more. I posted this on my website way back when, so it does seem to go. For the local needy, I put together care packages, with food, drinks, my custom Ts, and a technology device, with even a $20 bill. They could use the device to get online, and search for free food, help, and then a job. No message to ever come back to me, and so they go, looking too ill to use technology.

Now, I'm on a tight budget, having lived it up while in Las Vegas last winter. Good on my investments, it can be to get more to spend. With some plans for a lot of extra income, then at some date, the electric truck, this all depends on what happens. if everything goes right, I could be a millionaire in several years. Though there's no friend or wife to make the journey with me, it's been a solo, lonely life, that I've been managing. I have good luck, as I win at the casinos, and my investment returns have been spectacular. Not stupidity as many choose for themselves, I get to the summits and always back, safely and successfully, with economy.
