DONNER PEAK 15X AND MT. JUDAH 17X August 4, 2021

Game for some more peaks, I changed my mind on the fly, and headed for Donner Pass PCT trailhead. I had a light breakfast, and declined more food in Truckee. With road work and a delay on the old U. S. 40, I used the outhouse at the PCT trailhead, and started my hike. With no water on the trail anywhere here, I sauntered up the Pacific Crest Trail to take the Mt. Judah loop.

Summitting Donner Peak for my 15X, the register was okay and well supported. No one else would bag the true highpoint, despite my invitation to show them the way. I continued on the loop trail to first bag the north summit of Mt. Judah. Then to bag the highpoint of Mt. Judah 17X, and capture the views. After a cold diet soda drink, I decided to try to start up a summit register. There's a lot of hiker traffic on this peak, and I'd return in about a month to see if my register was supported. I'd then bring up a better register, and with plenty of pens, as I forgot to load my pack with new fresh pens, sorry, people.

Down to the PCT, I noted nature on my return, and never saw any other hikers then. Back to the car, I had a cold can of diet soda waiting, and motored to Truckee for some sushi at the fav eatery, but they were closed as I arrived. Figuring then to motor home, I had food once back to my home, then rested and showered, getting the news.

It's to see if the new register isn't removed or defaced, and if any hikers sign in. I may do this hike again, shortly, and bring up fresh pens. Forgetful, I don't have any help to remind me of things, even for salary. No help even at $100/hour for things to get done at my house, even. Never any partners for peak bagging or road trips, even for salary. I can't sell anything at even a big discount, brand new for $100 less.

Looking that my cash out refinance will go through, I expect to get plenty more cash, and the use back for my credit cards, so then back to fine dining and maybe even travel. Next month, they may introduce a new higher end computer, which I hope to get ASAP. Then in October, maybe the best electric pickup truck in the world, and it'll be mine! With such a fantastic future, I would have shared, but with no one to ever partake of my generousity, so be it.

To see the USA on multiple road trips, that's my plan, to bag state HPs and various peaks, with sights to see. When nobody wants any part of it, so they choose to go.
