LAS VEGAS DAY FORTY SEVEN December 27, 2020

Exploration Peak 9X

Working on my website post for the days previous, this was mostly done by Noon. Going for lunch, I gobbled up a burger and fries. Then to upload the video files, and with this ongoing, I left for the peak that was my daily exercise.

Bagging Exploration Peak for my 9X, this went uneventfully. I captured good telephotos of the sunset light on the distant peaks. With also good video, I shortly headed down. I would capture more of the dusk, as I drove with dash cams running.

To the free parking garage, I sought to get a replacement of my broken tote bag. The assistant manager refused, saying it was used. To tell her that I would never shop there again, that did not get it replaced or refunded. I would have to stitch it up myself, so an easy fix. It failed after less than a month, so cheap quality goods. To then look for a sewing hire, to get it done before moving back north to my things and then my own sewing kit.

Crossing the boulevard, I sought to get dinner. With night photos of the scene, I was declined at my first choice as they were booked up already. To another eatery, I was let in. Seated kinda close to another set of people, I asked to get another table, but they refused as they said they were all taken. With then less food to then order, I declined the $$$ ramen. Getting instead long beans and shrimp buns, this was much less to dine on. It was said that 15 minutes is the time that the virus needs for transmission. So to eat faster, and so less chance to get infected.

Out again on the street, I sought to get more photos of showgirls. One pair accepted $5 each, then asked for $5 apiece more. With now a good amount of paper money, I gave this to them as they asked politely. Better than as with the robbers of the old location, as they pulled a gun. Other girls nicely took the standard $5 model release fee. For hardly two or three photos, and a few seconds of posing, they get my cash. Pro models get some $50/hour, even up to a million dollars a day, but they are in high demand, working all day, or for the time being. They wait to get make up, and other pro things to have to do.

Used to be, I would offer the prints of the Club hikers on top of the peaks, taken with my Nikons for free. They then started to claim work, even though I carried up the camera and lens, took the summit photos, and also the money shots at my costs. Using film then, so I spent my money. Kodachrome ran me some $14 for a 36 exposure roll (1980's), total. I even did high quality Cibachrome prints, and gave them away for free. This made no difference to some Club hikers, as even with free summit photos, they demanded money for "work," with even unsightly looks. As my photos back then are the only proof, they have all left the peak bagging. Taken over by liars, they show photos of themselves at the false summits. To then award themselves medals, for what they never did, so goes that club.

Going to get a shake at the fast food on my way home, it was to see about the ongoing upload. To bed and sleep as it kept going, I would get back up by midnight.
